Description

The  3.3 meter brute sixwingman (Baryhexapterus agrius) was the largest predatory hexapteran on Anthropomundus. It lived off the northern shallows of the continent Ksandu, which extended even to the north pole of Anthropomundus. Unlike the rest of its cousins, its body was not as streamlined, thereby meaning that it was not as fast. However, this tradeoff gave them increased maneuverability. In the end, they were still reasonably fast.

The brute sixwingman had a heavier set of jaws than its needle-nosed cousins, with larger, more apparent teeth to match. This enabled them to seize and shear larger prey items. Its favored prey were the walromen (Odobenanthropus hypopsammophilus), the children of Njord werewhales (Niordocetus polaris), and northern mannock (Homineglefinus borealis), while it feared attacks from Northern killer werewhales (Hominorca borealis).

The brute sixwingmen had an interesting mating ritual. To first get the female, the male would rub up against the female to communicate his interest in her. Meanwhile, he would release pheromones from his genital slit for her to smell. If she reciprocated, then they would become a pair; otherwise, she would try to swim away, and if the male persisted, she would bite him. Trying to curry her favor would not be the only challenge for the male, for that there are also competitors. Because any duel for mating privileges with the jaws they have would have likely been fatal for both of them, as both could have ended up attracting predators with their blood, possibly resulting in the demise of both of them, they competed through shows of strength and virility in order to intimidate one another. First, they bumped into one another to agitate a confrontation, and then they engaged in a penis flashing contest, involving members with wide, corolla-like foreskins infused with bright, intimidating colors, in addition to pointed glandes. When one of the males succeeded in having the other back down, he won the female, but then he had the challenge the previous suitor had, which was to please her with touch and scent.
